Macguyver might be a fortuitous name for the 27 year old MD spitter. Just as the classic TV character did, this PG County rapper is following in those proverbial footsteps. Taking bits and pieces of a variety of elements and turning them into something not only functional, but extremely prodigious. While his craft doesn't consist of making bombs out of bubble gum, his style of hip-hop is vastly diverse, combining intriguing lyricism and gritty street elements that are the winning recipe for successful rap music. Aside from his impeccable knack for lyrical dexterity, he's an avid storyteller, something for which the rap game is in a shortage of. Listeners can relate to his music. His lines are formidable and clever to point where it's a hip-hop experience, as opposed to just another formulaic rapper. His keen sense of the streets and the art form itself, allow for not only records that crank, but music that can transcend the culture and reach different outlets. Macguyver is just getting started. He embodies the innate ability to grow and learn as he goes and with skills as sharp and polished as his are to this point, his potential is limitless. His sound is HIP-HOP. His sound is the RAP game. As he gears up to drop his new mixtape "Last Day Of School" and his joint EP with fellow label mate Willie Waze entitled "The Build" Macguyver is going to further stake his claim in the industry he plans to impact.
