The DMV is emphatically rich with hip-hop tradition, but also becoming abundantly saturated leaving very little room for new artists.  These artists are more often then not, finding themselves immersed amongst others who's grind is just as heavy as the next.  With competition being so rigid, the key to success is marketing yourself as a brand, constantly growing, and staying ahead of your competitors.  Even as an up and comer, it seems that Trey Morset has an unfair advantage, he's done all of these things, impeccably.  Sure he still has a faint motility of an underground rhymer, but his music's impact leaves behind a residual feel of greatness.  He's lyrical to a fault, his delivery is proficient, and his content is not only rugged and relatable, but a novelty in hip-hop, refreshing.  Lyrics and context become so stale that the rap game longs for innovation, and that's what Trey is bringing to it.  He has the ability to make club tracks and lyrical tracks, but impressively, has the fortitude to combine both entities into one.  His reach is limitless.  He's a packaged brand, a movement, a trendsetter, and among all else, a sincere artist.  His music establishes his laborious and herculean work ethic, and just how hard he's grinding to achieve individualism in an industry that is infinitely replicated.  His hip-hop attributes, accompanied with a solid team backing, (ImSoVip) make him not only an artist to watch, but one to follow and incorporate into everyday listening.  With the release of "The W.A.C.K. Project" and the growth on his new (The Weeknd) sampled "The Weeknd Special", Trey Morset is authenticating his brand, shining through saturation, and showing just how VIP he really is.
